Lauren Miller, an executive for the ‘Real Housewives’ franchise, has tragically passed away shortly after giving birth to her son, Jackson. The news was shared by her production company, Shed Media, via an emotional statement on Instagram, which read, “It is with devastated hearts that we share that our beloved colleague, Lauren, died unexpectedly just moments after giving birth to her baby boy.”

Miller, who held the position of executive assistant to the Senior Vice Presidents of Programming & Development, died on June 9. She leaves behind her husband, Kevin, their 3-year-old daughter, Emma, and their newborn son. The company’s statement highlighted her dedication to motherhood, emphasizing that “of all the things Lauren loved most, being a mother was at the top.” It also encouraged friends and fans to contribute to a GoFundMe set up for her family after this heartbreaking event.

Kevin Miller took to the comments to pay tribute, stating, “Lauren is the love of my life and I was blessed by God that she chose to spend her life with me and give me two beautiful children to remember her every minute of every day.” He also expressed gratitude for the support they have received, urging others to keep their family in their prayers.

The reality television community responded with an outpouring of grief, with many celebrities, including ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star Tamra Judge, expressing their condolences. Judge wrote, “Prayers for her family & friends. This is absolutely heartbreaking.”

Heather Gay, a cast member of ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,’ commented with a broken heart emoji, while Sai de Silva from ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ shared multiple crying emoji symbols. Jackie Christie from VH1’s ‘Basketball Wives’ added her sympathies, posting a red heart and prayer hands.

A GoFundMe page to assist Lauren’s family has garnered significant support, raising over $132,000 within a short time. The campaign reflects the deep impact Miller had on those who knew her, stating, “This unimaginable loss is impossible to comprehend and the hole that Lauren has left in this world and in her own family is an impossible one to ever fill.”

As updates emerged, it was announced on June 12 that baby Jackson had been released from the NICU and was now home with his father and sister. Kevin described his newborn son as having been an “angel” during his early days, noting that he is already alert and attentive.

The community continues to rally around Kevin and the children during this time of immense sorrow, hoping to honor Lauren’s legacy through their support.
