Rose Namajunas emerged as the top earner from the UFC Atlanta fight card held over the weekend, securing a substantial $500,000 for her victory against Miranda Maverick. The Georgia Athletic & Entertainment Commission confirmed the payouts to MMA Fighting on Monday, with Namajunas leading all participants.

After a disappointing loss to Erin Blanchfield in her previous fight, Namajunas rebounded impressively, dominating Maverick throughout the three-round contest. Her earnings comprised a $250,000 base salary and an additional $250,000 for the win.

In contrast, Miranda Maverick, whose four-fight win streak ended with this decision defeat, received $125,000. Following the match, she disclosed that she had torn her ACL, a setback that may require up to a year for recovery.

In the main event, Kamaru Usman earned $300,000 following a decisive victory over Joaquin Buckley, marking his first win in nearly four years. Usman showcased his grappling skills with multiple takedowns and controlled Buckley on the ground, positioning himself for a potential title shot.

Buckley walked away with $150,000 despite the loss. Additionally, former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt, who lost by decision to Raoni Barcelos on the main card, still garnered $275,000. Garbrandt had recently signed a new multi-fight contract with the UFC, ensuring his place in the organization.

Veteran welterweight Michael Chiesa earned $300,000 for his victory over Court McGee in the preliminaries. Although the bout wasn’t the most thrilling, Chiesa received $150,000 to show and another $150,000 upon winning.
