Amazon’s Prime Day is set to grow in 2025 with an extension from its traditional two days to four days of significant discounts. This change marks the first adjustment since 2017, when the event transitioned from a one-day sale to two.
The upcoming Prime Day will commence at 12:01 AM PDT on July 8 and continue through July 11. This popular shopping event offers online shoppers steep discounts on a wide array of products, spanning high-tech gadgets and everyday household essentials.
“With an extended 4-day event, our Prime members will have more time and flexibility to conveniently shop, while enjoying exclusive deals and incredible savings,” an Amazon spokesperson shared with the Daily Mail.
The extension comes during a period marked by inflation and economic uncertainty, prompting consumers to be more cautious with their spending. The additional days will provide shoppers with the opportunity to carefully consider their purchases.
In addition to the extended sale timeframe, Amazon is introducing “Today’s Big Deals,” a daily deal feature showcasing attractive discounts across various product categories, with new deals launching each day at midnight PDT.
This Prime Day will be accessible to members in 20 countries, including the U.S., U.K., Germany, Japan, and Australia. As always, shoppers will need to be Prime members to take advantage of the event’s offers.
As part of its enhancements for this year, Amazon will also roll out new AI-powered shopping tools, including an AI assistant named Rufus. This tool aims to provide personalized recommendations tailored to each member’s shopping preferences.
Whether a seasoned shopper or a newcomer, Prime Day 2025 is poised to be a remarkable event for bargain hunters.
