X

The beloved character Peter Pan has made his debut in Disney Dreamlight Valley, thanks to the Mysteries of Skull Rock update, infusing the game with a sense of youthful wonder. However, his arrival comes with its own challenges, as players will find that unlocking Peter Pan is no simple task.

Nestled within Skull Rock, a location shrouded in mystery for years, the update reveals that Peter Pan is waiting for adventurers. To unlock him, players will need to complete a series of quests.

How to Unlock Peter Pan

To begin, once you have completed the Mysteries of Skull Rock update, you must wait for the quest titled ‘A Forgotten Name’ to appear. Players may need to be patient, as it can take up to 45 minutes for the quest to initiate.

Upon activation, you will need to talk to a character known as The Forgotten, who shares their discovery of a mysterious feather near Skull Rock. After a brief chat, you’ll head to Skull Rock with them, where nostalgic childhood memories come to light as they request you to provide them with a real name. You can select from various options or create a custom name, which will officially convert The Forgotten into a villager in your Valley, thus beginning your next quest.

Shadows On The Wall

Following ‘A Forgotten Name,’ you will embark on the ‘Shadows On The Wall’ quest alongside The Forgotten. Together, you will explore Skull Rock, which harbors hidden items, chests, and even precious gems. Upon completing your exploration, return to The Forgotten to proceed.

Your next task involves locating three broken lanterns to activate Pixie Dust Orbs. You will discover the first lantern near your initial meeting spot by the winches. To find the remaining two, grab your Fishing Rod and look along the dock area.

Repairing The Lanterns

Once all three lanterns have been recovered, you will require the following materials to repair them:
– 3 Broken Lanterns from Skull Rock
– 3 Gold Ingots
– 9 Glass
– 9 Vitalys Crystals

The Gold Ingots can be obtained from mining nodes scattered throughout Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and Forgotten Lands, requiring a total of 15 Gold Nuggets and three Coal. For glass, you’ll need to collect 45 Sand—found in Dazzle Beach—along with 18 Coal. Vitalys Crystals are mined in the Vitalys Mine located in Sunlit Plateau.

Next, you’ll need to capture the Pixie Dust Orbs found in the following locations:
– Glade of Trust, by Gothel’s house
– Forest of Valor, on the bridge
– Forgotten Lands, next to the pond in the top left corner

After securing the Orbs, head to a crafting table to create the three Pixie Dust Lanterns, then return to Skull Rock to place them at the winches near The Forgotten.

Capturing The Shadow

With the lanterns in position, you will need to aim them to catch a shadowy figure. Align the lights towards the wall on the right when facing The Forgotten, allowing you to interact and introduce yourself to the shadow, who will attempt to display something for you. Adjust the lights to free him and then solve the riddles posed by three Jade Skulls to continue.

The riddle answers are as follows:
1. A pirate ship
2. A Pixie
3. A pan flute

Solving the riddles allows you to progress to the next quest.

A Ship of Gold

Progressing further, follow the Shadow and The Forgotten through the gate, where you’ll uncover another winch buried within a rock. After breaking the rock with your pickaxe, you can unveil a Pixie Dust Orb and gather additional Pixie Dust.

Follow the Pixie Dust Orb through Skull Rock, collecting the dust as it trails behind. After gathering all six Pixie Dusts, use them on the large Pirate Ship in the middle of Skull Rock to make it fly. Speak to The Forgotten again once you are aboard.

Solving the Barrel Puzzle

Upon investigation of mysterious barrels, engage in a puzzle that entails matching symbols correctly. The pairs are:
– Captain Hook
– Peter Pan
– Tinkerbell

With the puzzle completed, retrieve the Captain’s key from the barrel and head to the Captain’s Cabin.

Inside, obtain the winch to unlock the next area, thus concluding that quest.

The Music’s On the Walls

For the final task to unlock Peter Pan, follow The Forgotten and the shadow to a location featuring musical notes. Speak to The Forgotten and chase a Glowing Musical Note that escapes. If lost, follow it down the ramp and through a door to witness a memory of Peter Pan surrounded by musical notes.

Return to The Forgotten to collect a silver key, then go to the Captain’s Cabin and open a chest inside, revealing a treasure map pointing to Ariel’s Island.

The missing Glowing Musical Notes are hidden in:
– Skull Rock (with the Jade Skulls)
– The treehouse in the Forgotten Lands
– Olaf’s cave in Frosted Heights
– Ursula’s cave on Dazzle Beach
– The Dream Castle on the second floor

To retrieve the buried treasure, use the boat by Skull Rock to reach Ariel’s Island and dig it up.

Final Steps

After returning, you must use the buttons to reposition the Musical Notes according to the book’s layout. If obstructed by the shadow, craft one more Lantern and set it on the winch to trap him.

Finally, reposition the notes correctly to summon Peter Pan. He will initially be wary of adults and challenge you to a game of hide-and-seek, where you can search in dark and hidden corners of the area. You’ll ultimately find him on the top floor of the Dark Castle.

After successfully locating him, Peter Pan will agree to join your Valley, allowing you to build his home for 20,000 Star Coins.

Stay tuned for further updates as we continue to explore the quests within the game.
