Nintendo has released a new update for Mario Kart World, with version 1.1.1 now live. While the update does not introduce any new features, it includes several important fixes addressing various issues in the game.
The detailed patch notes for Mario Kart World version 1.1.1 are as follows:
– Resolved an issue that prevented players from using items.
– Fixed a problem where controls could become unresponsive when selecting characters and attempting to start Free Roam from the designated map.
– Addressed an issue that caused the game to crash while watching replays after races.
– Corrected a shutdown issue that occurred after online races.
– Fixed inaccuracies in rate fluctuations displayed in both the Knockout Tour and Online Play modes.
– Mitigated the frequency of communication errors when players tried to join friends in VS Race or Battle in Online Play.
– Resolved a glitch where players could slip through walls before finishing at DK Spaceport.
– Fixed an issue where players were unable to return to the correct position after falling off the course between Airship Fortress and Bowser’s Castle while gliding.
This marks the first update following the game’s launch. The previous update, version 1.1.0, was released alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 earlier this month. For those who missed it, patch notes for that update are also available.
Mario Kart World is currently playable on the Nintendo Switch 2.
