A unique new character has been unveiled for the forthcoming Cars attraction at Magic Kingdom, drawing inspiration from a beloved classic Disney cartoon figure.

As part of the expansion of Frontierland, the new ride will be situated in a themed area known as Piston Peak National Park. The character, named Ranger J. Autobahn Woodlore, is a clever nod to the original Ranger J. Audubon Woodlore.

The human version of Ranger Woodlore is prominently featured in various cartoons alongside Humphrey the Bear, making his debut in the 1954 Donald Duck short “Grin and Bear It,” where he serves as a ranger at Brownstone National Park. In his automotive form, Ranger Woodlore will oversee operations at Piston Peak National Park and will be visible during the ride queue for the off-road rally experience.

Guests will encounter Woodlore as an Audio Animatronic figure within a designated Ranger Room, where he will share essential story elements and background about Piston Peak, setting the stage for the thrilling race through the Rocky Mountain-inspired landscape.

This addition follows the tradition of incorporating Cars characters into Audio Animatronic displays, with similar experiences already available on Radiator Springs Racers at Disney California Adventure.
