President Trump to Decide on US Response to Iranian Missile Strikes on Israeli Hospital Within Two Weeks

In a press conference on Thursday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that President Donald Trump is set to make a crucial decision regarding potential US military action against Iran within the next two weeks. Leavitt emphasized that Trump perceives a “substantial” opportunity for negotiations that could meet both US and Israeli demands concerning Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

The president has insisted that Iran must halt its uranium enrichment and dismantle any initiatives associated with nuclear weapons production. “Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks,” Leavitt quoted Trump as stating.

The United States is currently evaluating the possibility of participating in Israel’s military operations, particularly focusing on targeting Iran’s fortified Fordo uranium enrichment facility, which is entrenched within a mountain and could potentially be compromised by US bunker-buster bombs.

Earlier in the day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed confidence in President Trump, stating, “I trust that Trump will do what’s best for America.” He also acknowledged the ongoing assistance from the US, saying, “I can tell you that they’re already helping a lot.”
